What is selection?

Selection is roleplaying with a small amount of people in order to limit the amount of threads being written and limit the amount of stress in a human being’s life. It helps to limit the amount of drafts for one to do and allows a person to relax and have fun on his/her roleplay blog. It reminds him/her that he/she does not have to roleplay with everyone if he/she does not feel like it. It’s not used to make people feel bad, just to limit the headaches. This does not mean that one will not interact with other people that he/she follows.

How to Reach Mun/Plotting:

I’m an easy going person. Just send me an ask that isn’t in character and ask me to roleplay. I do ask you, though, to please read the character biography before you ask me to roleplay. It resolves about 95% of the plotting problem. I am a multi-ship & AU blog. I will only roleplay with certain fandoms that I know of. i.e.

• Reign
• Teen Wolf
• Doctor Who
• Pretty Little Liars
• Chasing Life
• The Fault in Our Stars
• &c., &c.

I do not know much about magna and anime, so if you follow me/ask me to roleplay, there is a higher chance that I will definitely say no for obvious reasons.

Mun’s Following & Unfollowing Policy:

Let’s just get to the point: I’m not always going to follow you back. I’m sorry, but it’s the cold & hard truth. I do look at your blog, though. If I cannot see any way whatsoever for our muses to interact, you will not get a follow back. It may sound cold & bitchy, but it has to be done. I’d like to limit the clutter of my dashboard.

About Threads and Such:

Threads are truly fabulous things, aren’t they? I say have as many as you possibly can. It can create such depth in characters’ development. Being that I’m a slow poke and I do have a life outside of Tumblr, my replies might take a bit longer. Please have some patience with me. Real life come first.

I will let you know if a thread has been dropped whether it’s through a post or via inbox or other OOC contact. Please let me know ahead of time if you do not want me to put you in my dropped & drafted threads posts. I do not need another argument about a silly little thing such as that. If you do not want to be on that post and you do not specify it, then you will be put on my post and any argument that happens may cause an unfollow depending how understanding we both are.

I will start with this: I AM UNDER THE AGE OF 18, WHICH IS THE LEGAL AGE TO SMUT IN THE UNITED STATES. I will not smut at all nor will I ask anyone to smut. Anything smut related that happens in a thread will be put into a fade-to-black.

I will tag all of my triggers accordingly. I, myself, do not have any triggers. I would appreciate it, though, if everyone would tag their NSFW because I do go on tumblr in public places and I would really appreciate my family not seeing two naked men making love on my dashboard.

As I said earlier, I am a multi-ship blog and I am open to any ship. I ship my character with chemistry, not just any ol’ character. I will not change my character’s personality and state of being for your ship.

Katerina wears a gold necklace with a sapphire stone as the charm. This necklace protects her from the sun and allows her to use her abilities as per usual. If taken away and she was released into the outside without it, then she would absolutely burn to death.

In her reign, Katerina was barren for a long while. She was to give birth to a boy, but had a still birth & her second pregnancy was to be faternal twins, but it was a miscarriage. Her final child was Nikita, but it took her a long while for the conception. Many of her people looked at her in shame because her sister had already birthed a child to a high noble in France.

Background

            Katerina Jacqueline Solovyova was born into a noble Russian family in March of 1794. All families throughout Russia knew the Solovyov family from Moscow. They were one of the highest families in the social pyramid. The family was high enough that they were able to marry their first born daughter off to the Czar’s son & her best friend, Dmitry Stefan Novikov.

            Dmitry and Katerina were oh-so-very close. They would sneak out at night and go to there own little spot in the clearing near both of their homes and just lay there with bottles of red wine. They would even have their romantic nights in his house or hers. They were the “it” couple in all of Russia. On their wedding day, people waiting outside of the Church doors for hours before and after the wedding, hoping to be lucky enough to get anything as little as a wave from the newlyweds. The couple was married on May 14, 1813.

            Directly after the couple’s wedding and after their honeymoon to Italy, Katerina & Dmitry came home with exhilarating news: they were going to have an heir to the throne. Katerina had become pregnant during their honeymoon. Nikita Lidiya Novikova was born on December 15, 1813.

            Nikita was like the Prince George of the 19^th century. Every person who laid his or her eyes on her was completely awestruck and joyous. The Novikovs’ lives were going perfectly & smoothly as planned. Of course, there were bumps in the road with family, the baby, and other things that married couples argued about. Katerina kicked Dmitry out sometimes, but he always came back and she always let him back in.

           The couple lived in a manor only a few miles away from both of their homes to be in complete relaxation and peace, so they could raise their child, have a happy marriage, and wait to be crowned the next Czar & Czarina of Russia.

Unfortunately, that was not the case. January 1814, Nikita was diagnosed with what they hadn’t known was a case of influenza. The couple tried everything from herbs to potions, but Nikki was still coughing, vomiting, and crying. There was nothing they could do to cure her. On January 17, 1814, Nikita passed away in her sleep. Katerina was completely distraught. Even though Dmitry attempted at soothing his hysteric wife, there was no way for her to even breathe without acting irrational. That same night, Katerina ran off into the woods where she and Dmitry used to lay and look up at the stars.

Katerina stood in the woods for nearly two nights before she returned back home. Not to her home with Dmitry where her daughter’s deceased vessel lay, but to her own home with her never–pleased–with–her–first–born–daughter mother, her show–off sister, and her youngest brother whom she was very close with after her twin brother disappeared. That day, each thing that her mother and sister picked at made her bloodlust grow higher. Katerina killed her sister that day.

Locking herself in her old bedroom, the woman undid her ever–so–messy gown after her lengthy bath and threw on her nightgown to reveal a tattoo­–like image on her body of a long snake starting from her lower back & twisting all the way up to her neck area. She was unsure of what it was, but she finally remembered how she had killed her sister: a pair of fangs slipped out from her teeth and icy blue eyes turned red as she bit into her sister’s neck, causing her to fall limp on the ground.

Katerina knew of vampires from fables and she sure enough knew that she was one, but how & when? And why did a tattoo of a serpent appear on her body?

Dmitry & Katerina went out to the area in the woods where they always went that night and she could feel the bloodlust rising to an unspeakable level during the day. With her, she brought a flask of red wine that had her own blood forced inside of it. She made him drink it & with that she did kill him. Not completely, of course. Dmitry rose again after a few minutes, realizing that he, too, had become what she was. He felt betrayed and angered which caused him to run off from Russia, never to be seen again in Russia.

Due to the impatience and annoyance of the Novikov & Solovyov families, the marriage between Katerina & Dmitry was annulled. Vladmir, Dmitry’s father, needed Katerina on the throne, so he forced her to marry his second eldest son, Ivan.

As the couple was about to say their vows, Katerina’s body fell cold and lifeless. She had “died.” Before she could mutter an “I do,” she pretended to be dead. She was eventually buried. Since she was able to, Katerina escaped the family mausoleum and ran off from Russia, never to return again.

In 2013, Katerina enrolled herself in Cornell University. It was one of New York’s many Supernatural–Accepting colleges in Supernatural–Accepting New York. She didn’t realize that she was going to meet her best friend & banshee, Allana Cian, her nemesis, Tristan Cho, and her ex–husband all at the same school.

Fun Fact: Dmitry enrolled after he found out that Katerina was enrolled. He goes only to be closer to her, even though they still have a brooding hatred towards each other. The hatred only covers up the love they truly have for each other.

Not only did she meet those select people, but also her twin brother, Zilya Solovyov, was found in the same school. He wasn’t enrolled, but he needed to find her to explain how he was the person who turned her into a Métamorphe Fertilis Vampire.

What is a Métamorphe Fertilis Vampire? This is a vampire who is able to conceive children and give birth as well, without any complications. But what is the métamorphe part? Each vampire of this species has his or her own spirit animal. This animal represents who they are personality–wise. When they are able to, they can literally become that animal. They’re basically shape shifters, in a way. When triggered, they are able to just have the senses of said animal. Katerina’s animal is a snake, hence the tattoo of the serpent on her back. Dmitry’s is a raven.

The only problem with their species is that they’re going extinct. The only few left are Katerina, Dmitry, Zilya, Ivan, and another girl in relation to Dmitry named Rebekah. This is causing them to be chased and hunted by a clan of spirits called the Tremendo Espíritu. Little did they know that the leader of these spirits was Katerina’s sister, Natalia. She was always picking on Katerina and she figured this would be a way of revenge for her. She married one of the men she killed, even though witches who became spirits were not usually married nor would they fall in love.

Of Times Gone By

This verse takes place before Katerina is turned in 1815. She is married to Dmitry Novikov, the king's son. This marriage took place to show the relationship between the royalty and the nobles. Dmitry and Katerina do not have any children yet. In this verse, they are about to step up and take the title of Czar and Czarina of Russia.

Living a Teenage Dream

This can take place in either the past or present day, depending on the verse. Katerina’s age ranges from 14–19 in this verse.

The Great Escape (Teen Wolf v. 1)

After Katerina’s flee from Russia after she was turned, the woman began to wander around from country to country doing whatever she pleased. By 1997 she had settled down in Becon Hills, CA, where her family had a ‘vacation home’ or another castle-like mansion. Being that it was years later, the home was falling apart. With the money she had, she remade the home to her liking. She didn’t stay very long, but when she came back in present time, she enrolled herself into Beacon Hills High too seem like a ‘normal teenager.’

She's Cheer Captain (Teen Wolf v. 2)

Katerina was born human—just like most of the residents of Beacon Hills. She was quite a rich little girl, but she never acted like a spoiled brat. At a young age, she was friends with Scott and Stiles, but she bonded with Lydia as well. As the years went on, Katerina drifted from Scott and Stiles and became more & more like Lydia. By high school, the two were practically attatched by the hip. Their only difference was Katerina's “profession” as the school's cheer team captain. They were best friends & the two most popular girls in Beacon Hills High.

Katerina was bitten & turned at the age of 14. Lydia had thrown quite the party and, of course, Katerina went. This party was held in a quaint little area in the woods that looked absolutely magical—in an eerie sense. That night, she was bitten and turned into a vampire.

Bow To Your Queen (Reign)

Queen Katerina Novikova travels from Russia to France on behalf of her country & her husband, King Dmitry Novikov, to view how life in French Court. The royal couple wanted to better their country by visiting an ally that — yes, has had it's troubles, but is still truly beautiful.

Accidentally In Love

When Katerina fled from Russia to have to travel place to place, she didn't expect to go back to her family's old summer house in what was now known as Beacon Hills, California. She decided that, if she was going to look the part, she needed to play the part. (refer to Teen Wolf v. 1 & 2)

Captain of the cheer team was not an easy job, especially with all the boys down the field from them playing lacrosse. She noticed, though, that there was one boy who was especially eyeing her. Scott McCall. After a few conversations, she rejected him automatically. Something changed that automatic rejection towards him. What it was, she had no clue, but — she fell head over heels. That's not what she wanted to do. That was not her intention.
